Granlibakken Resort launches summer with treetop adventure park
TAHOE CITY, Calif. andamp;#8212; Tahoeandamp;#8217;s Granlibakken Conference Center andamp; Lodge zips into summer with Californiaandamp;#8217;s first Treetop Adventure Park, andamp;#8220;where ropes course meets zip line on steroids.andamp;#8221; Itandamp;#8217;s among 30 in the nation and consists of platforms installed in trees connected by configurations of cable, wood, rope and zip lines to form bridges.Fully harnessed guests will be able to zip, climb, walk, and maneuver their way through the courses, each with varying degrees of skills and challenges to promote teamwork 30 feet above the ground.The park, launching in mid-June, will be open daily from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. with the last tour beginning at 6 p.m. Each session is good for 2.5 hours and is available for ages four to adult.
