Keep event description to 50 words.Junior Golf Day at Old GreenwoodTruckee -Donner Recreation andamp; Park District is hosting a Junior Golf Day for ages 6-14 at Old Greenwood Golf Course, off Interstate 80 at 12915 Fairway Drive, Truckee, June 3, 2-5 p.m. Spend a day in the sun with other junior golfers and local pros from Old Greenwood and Truckee High School golf coach, for instruction, games and activities related to golf. Beginners are welcome and you do not need clubs to attend. There will be a raffle for prizes and parents are welcome to attend the complimentary golf clinics. Fee is $10 and you can pay at the event of pre-register at the Community Center, located at 8924 Donner Pass Road, Truckee. Call 530-582-7720.XC Mountain Bike Clinic with Katerina NashJoin Olympian, LUNA Pro and Truckee resident Katerina Nash for the Fourth Annual Cross Country Skills Clinic, Tuesday, June 5. Participants will work on technical mountain biking skills that will help push their limits in cross country mountain biking. The clinic will be held at Northstar-at-Tahoe from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Meet at the gondola. Clinic participants are asked to bring a $15 donation for the Breast Cancer Fund. A LUNA goody bag will be included with clinic registration. Participation in the clinic will not require a lift ticket or downhill pass.
