Hello Dolly!

Truckee High School Drama Department will be performing Hello Dolly! at the Truckee High School Theater on May 4, 5, 11, 17, 18 and 19 at 7 p.m. (doors open 6:30), and on Sunday, May 13 ” Mother’s Day ” at 2 p.m. (doors open 1:30).

The musical Hello Dolly! is based on the play “Matchmaker,” by Thorton Wilder and was performed on Broadway in the 1960s.

“The kids have worked like crazy,” said director Jim Sturtevant. “It’s going to be a great show. The band is phenomenal.”

The music in the production is conducted by Dave Green. The play also offers colorful period costumes by Sherri Schmidt and choreography by Sherie Peterson.

Tickets to Hello Dolly! are available in the Tahoe Truckee High School library, and at Between the Notes music store in Truckee on Donner Pass Road in Gateway. Adult ticketss are $12, student and children tickets are $8.
