TAHOE CITY, Calif. – Are you looking for something special, a one-of-a-kind gift? Then look no further than North Tahoe Arts Center and visit the Artisan Shop and two galleries filled with wonderful fine art and handcrafted work especially directed toward your holiday giving.

Most of what you will find in the Holly Arts exhibit is original winter themed art, which can be used to decorate your cabin, and lots of cards, decorated trees, hand crafted wreaths, felted goods, leather goods, and wood carved and glass ornaments to adorn your tree.

You’ll also find jewelry, beautiful functional ceramics and etched glass plates and bowls – even glass-blown night light. We have a great collection of organic botanical potions, homemade soaps and creams and Tahoe Teas available for the health-conscious folks among us. The smells are awesome. All are made by local and very talented artists.

Everyone is welcome to the Holly Arts opening reception on Friday, Nov. 9, 5-7 p.m., to enjoy singing by the Mountain Belles and music by Robin Zeare, harpist.

All proceeds benefit North Tahoe Arts, which relies primarily on fundraisers and contributions to operate the Art Center and provide numerous programs and services to the community. For information, call 530-581-ARTS or visit http://www.northtahoearts.com. NTA is a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization.
