TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212;-Hi, I’m Bella! I’m about 6 years old and maybe a Border Collie/Australian Shepherd mix? I came from another shelter out of state, and that shelter said I was very much an abused dog. You see, the person I relied on kept me chained up and only fed me or gave me water when he felt like it, which wasnand#8217;t often. Plus I was in the last days of pregnancy! I gave birth to seven happy and healthy pups and now itand#8217;s my turn to find a home. Iand#8217;ve got scars on me that wonand#8217;t ever totally heal, but my spirit has healed already. I may never forget some of the abuses I endured, but I most certainly will never, ever forget the kindness of the person who will soon take me home and love me forever!
