Humane Society of Truckee-Tahoe Pet of the Week: Dakotah
TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Hi, Iand#8217;m Dakotah! Iand#8217;m around a year old and I seem to be all Siberian Husky. If you know my breed, youand#8217;ll know weand#8217;re known for our independence, which means we usually canand#8217;t be trusted off leash and#8212; at least until weand#8217;re really well trained. Weand#8217;re intelligent companions and tend to prefer people and dogs to smaller critters (except to chase). Iand#8217;m not a huge boy: only around 60 pounds at the most. I am in great shape and ready to get out of shelter life and into yours.
