In His Care Preschool announces opening

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; In His Care Preschool opened their doors Monday, Sept. 27, at the Fellowship Community Church, formerly known as the First Baptist Church in Truckee. In His Care Preschool is a bible-based Christian preschool. The heart of the preschool is to offer the community affordable options for children 2-6 years old. The In His Care preschool is a state licensed, nonprofit affiliate service of Fellowship Community Church, 11605 Deerfield Drive, a beautiful two acre parcel behind the Boulders. The school is open year round. Each day will start with breakfast at 7:30 a.m. Parents will have the option to pick up their child by 5:30 p.m.

Direcor Denise Sullivan believes her purpose as a director and a Christian is to teach the word of God. Sullivan believes young children are special and created by God and need a place where they have an opportunity to learn and grown as Christian individuals.

Also on staff are teachers Stephanie Lopez, Kristi Morgan, and assistant teachers are Sharon Mayo and Moriah Arney.

Pastor Loren Morrill, who has pastored the church for the last seven years, is excited about many changes: The name change the first of many. The church and preschool support the whole child and the childand#8217;s parents and families. Parent involvement is encouraged.

In His Care is open to all faiths, and is Christ-based and claim that Jesus is the Lord. They welcome churched as well as non-churched children whose parents want them to know the Lord. Contact director Denise Sullivan at 530-550-9077 or e-mail for more information.
