TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. – Connor DiNapoli joins the talented staff at InnerRhythms with three new tap dancing classes offered on Monday evenings. Connor started dancing at the age of 4 under the tutelage of his aunt Sheri Lynn Vandervoort, continuing the legacy of dance within his family where recitals were more of a family reunion. It was at that early age Connor found his love for tap that continues today. Connor has competed in many state and national competitions earning the title California State Champion in Tap at the age of 12. Connor has studied many styles of dance including jazz, ballet, hip hop and musical theater. He has choreographed and starred in such productions as “West Side Story,” “Guys and Dolls,” “The Music Man,” “Crazy for You,” “A Chorus Line” and the lead role in “Singing in the Rain.” Connor has been teaching tap since 1999. He currently splits his time between Reno, Nev. and his hometown Santa Cruz and is excited to call InnerRhythms his new home. For more information call 530-550-8464 or email info@innerrhythms.org.
