The Parasol Community Collaboration is a membership organization dedicated to providing resources and support to our local non-profits and greater community. The public face of the Parasol Community Collaboration, the Smallwood Collaboration Resource Center, includes a host of resources open to the general public.

As a Cooperating Collection of Foundation Center, the Parasol Community Collaboration offers free access to Foundation Centerand#8217;s online grants research database, Foundation Directory Online. Housed in the Smallwood Collaboration Resource Center of the DWR Center in Incline Village, the Foundation Directory Online database provides grant seekers with vital information to become successful in attaining grant funding. The Parasol Community Collaboration Cooperating Collection of the Foundation Center is made possible by a generous grant from the Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation.

The Parasol Community Collaboration also offers a series of affordable spring and fall workshops and seasonal trainings about critical nonprofit topics which are open to the public. Recent topics include: grant writing, marketing, fundraising, boards and management. Visit for the 2010 workshop and training schedule.

Intrigued? Upon becoming a member of the Parasol Community Collaboration, you gain access to even more valuable resources! To learn more contact Wendy Losee at (775) 298-0118 or visit us at one of the monthly meetings held every second Wednesday at the DWR Center, Incline Village, from 8:30 a.m.-noon; everyone is welcome!

Please note this is the Parasol Community Collaboration, not the Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation.
