Join the Silicon Mountain Group for a vibrant talk about the frenetic, ever-evolving, technology driven sports television industry Monday, Feb. 13, 6-8 p.m. at Tahoe Donnerand#8217;s Pizza on the Hill.



Andy Reichwald will give a behind-the-scenes peek at producing live TV sports events. Reichwald, a 24-year industry insider, will give a peek at the and#8220;controlled chaosand#8221; while producing a live event. From mainstream sports to the X-Games and everything in between, Reichwald will share the scope of preparation and the radical impact technology has had during the last 10 years on his industry. and#8220;What the viewer at home sees and what goes on in the production truck to make that happen are two very different things,and#8221; says Reichwald.

This talk will leave you with a new sense of how technology and sports are inseparable.



Before and after the discussion, there will also be time for networking with other technology people who live and work in the Tahoe-Truckee region.

The meeting will take place at Pizza on the Hill, 11509 Northwoods Blvd. A $5 fee includes pizza, salad and soft drinks. Silicon Mountain Group is a networking group of technology professionals, entrepreneurs and virtuals that hosts a monthly meeting the second Monday of every month.
