Kids Helping Kids: Torch Club of North Lake Tahoe book drive

KINGS BEACH, Calif. andamp;#8212; The Torch Club of North Lake Tahoe, a small leadership club of fourth through sixth graders, announced they are collecting new and used books as part of their Linking Hearts and Hands Service Project through Dec. 15. Torch Club members will gladly take your new and old books from 7 a.m.-6 p.m., Monday through Friday at the Boys andamp; Girls Club of North Lake Tahoe, 8125 Steelhead Ave., next to Kings Beach Elementary School. Books will go to shelters and safe houses in the Reno/Tahoe area. The Torch Club is proud to be part of the community and appreciates your help! Call 530-546-4324 for information.
