KidZone looking to raise $20,000

The KidZone Museum is celebrating its 15th year for serving locals and visitors in the Truckee, Lake Tahoe and Nevada community. The museum was created to foster the health and development of children. This has been accomplished through innovative exhibits and programs that encourage children to explore discover and learn through play.

Annually, 17,000 visitors experience the KidZone museum located in the “tent” next to the Truckee High School.

The non-profit is also in the midst of its Annual Giving Campaign. “A gift of $100 will provide a year of exploring, discovering and learning for a low-income family in our community,” said Carol Meagher, director of the KidZone Museum.

The monetary goal for this annual giving campaign is $20,000. If you are interested in giving or becoming a member, please call 530-587-KIDS or donate online at
