Kings Beach Music Series brings back Momentum

Momentum and beer from Fifty Fifty Brewing Company are on tap for the free Thursday, July 16 concert at the Kings Beach State Recreation Area.The Kings Beach-based band has a modern twist on vintage rock, with influences ranging from blues, roots and traditional rock, to serious funk and jazz sounds. The show starts at 6:30 p.m. and is presented by Eco Print andamp; Imaging.andamp;#8220;Momentum rocked the Deck Party before the Kings Beach fireworks this year. This is an opportunity to check them out if you missed them for that show,andamp;#8221; said Cheri Sprenger, executive director of the North Tahoe Business Association, the organization that hosts the music series.The series runs every Thursday, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., through Aug. 13 at the Kings Beach State Recreation Area, behind the playground. The lineup continues with Loose Canon on July 23, Downbeat on July 30, Drinking with Clowns on Aug. 8 and Izabella on Aug. 13.Search andamp;#8220;kings beach musicandamp;#8221; in Facebook to become a fan of the music series.
