Kiwanis announces 18th annual Beach Ball and Community Benefit Auction

TAHOE CITY Break out the old straw hats and bonnets, the Kiwanis Club of North Lake Tahoe proudly announces its 18th annual charity fundraising event, Beach Ball and Community Benefit Auction, taking place at Sunnyside Resort Sunday, May 31, from 11 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.This years spring gala takes on a new and delightful twist with a circa 1940s Nostalgic Lake Tahoe party theme. Guests will enjoy deluxe hors doeuvres and sip premium wines with six fine wineries pouring tastes from an array of wines. As always, Kiwanis members will hold both silent and live auctions with more than $70,000 in items up for bid from exotic vacations, golf packages, dinners out, fine wines, sporting goods, art and decorative home accessories. Our Silent Auction will also be accessible online prior to the event at Purple Wave Auctions: The final bids will be established at the event so that attendees have the last bidding opportunity.Discount tickets can be purchased in advance for $25 at Cabin Fever and Mother Natures, located next to Rosies Caf in Tahoe City.
