‘Ladies Night’ to be evening of glamour, shopping and giving back
TRUCKEE, Calif. – Three downtown Truckee businesses – Bespoke; Mo, Jo & Zoe and Urban Angels – will team up to host a “Ladies Night” on Thursday, Nov. 8, 5:30-8 p.m. All ladies are invited to join in for an evening of glamour, shopping, fun and giving back.The collaborative “Sip and shop with style!” event is in support of Project MANA and Tahoe SAFE Alliance. Attendees can expect music, refreshments, light eats, raffle and contest prizes, special discounts and a first look at new fall/winter merchandise: Perfect for holiday shopping.Stylists from Urban Angels salon will be on hand at both store locations providing demos. Two hair stylists will be at Mo, Jo & Zoe, and two makeup artists at Bespoke showing a “quick and easy” version of Urban Angels’ exclusive “Holiday Party Package” look. “Red holiday lips” will be showcased at Bespoke, and a “quick hair twist” will be demonstrated at Mo, Jo & Zoe. Each demo will take approximately 10 minutes. Following the event, Urban Angels will offer these looks together as a Holiday Party Package, with special $50 pricing for Ladies Night attendees ($60 regularly). Thursday’s event is a 40s-style “Dress to Impress” theme, so show off your favorite glamour look. Both locations will have photo booths available to capture your “red carpet” beauty, and the paparazzi may even be on hand scouting for the “best dressed” guest to receive a special prize. Attendees are asked to bring a donation. Bring canned food to Bespoke for Project MANA, and/or lightly used winter clothing for women and children to Mo, Jo & Zoe for Tahoe SAFE Alliance. All donations will be rewarded with a raffle ticket.Project MANA is a nonprofit organization seeking to provide hunger relief, alleviate the causes of hunger and promote nutrition through education and awareness. Tahoe SAFE Alliance is the only agency providing assistance to victims of intimate partner violence and sexual assault in the North Lake Tahoe/Truckee region, and owns/operates the only safe house in the community. “Donations of new or lightly used winter clothing for women and children can make all the difference for members of our community during these cold months,” says Karen Carey, executive director of Tahoe SAFE Alliance.Tickets are required for entry to the Ladies Night event.
