Ages 8 years to adult. Collaborative program between the Tahoe City Public Utility District, the Tahoe Community Sailing Foundation, Obexerandamp;#8217;s Marina and the Tahoe Yacht Club. The program develops solid sailing skills with an emphasis on safety and fun. Classes and clinics are offered to the beginner through advanced sailor. Students will learn basic water safety, basic knots, right-of-way rules, docking, jibbing, beaching, rigging and race tactics. Instructors are experienced sailors and U.S. Sailing Certified. Beginner sessions in the evenings for adults who are looking for a safe, fun sailing adventure. All adult classes will be held in new fleet of 17andamp;#8217; Vanguard Nomads.
