Letter to the editor: An idea for the school district

Shelby Brooks
5th grade, Glenshire Elementary School

My mom and I had a great idea. We were thinking that the Agricultural Inspection Station should have some kind of sticker like a Truckee Wolverine Sticker (to raise money for the schools) or a red sticker of some sort for their car. (Not unlike the Fast Pass used by the Bay area.)

Maybe a plastic sign to say they don’t have produce. If they do have produce or don’t have a sticker/sign, they know people are either tourists or they need their food checked.

I think that would be a great idea because no one likes to wait in the long lines when there is only two lanes open or maybe three but never four, five or six. Then it would go faster.

That is what I think the Ag Station should do.
