Letter to the Editor: Best Aloha Holiday Party ever

Thanks to everyone who came to our 5th annual Holiday Celebration, this time including the whole Aloha Building. Besides the usual Aloha and Tahoe Medical Spa teams, Farmers Insurance, Luna Blu Salon and Xtropy Web Marketing participated, each with their own events and raffle. Jim Hammerel from Xtropy held a blind wine tasting contest that everyone failed badly, and everyone got to meet Tricia Rose, the new owner of Luna Blu, while reconnecting with long time owners Larry and Michael Peyton of Farmers.

The evening climaxed with the debut performance of an original piece, Julian Forest’s Study Canon in E minor for Violin and Guitar, featuring the world renown celestial guitarist with me, Gwendalyn Gilliam, on violin. And the most magnificent thing that happened is that we got to see so many phenomenal people who participate with us, year after year. There is a rare and wonderful community surrounding the Aloha, and we honor you.
