Letter to the Editor: Go Green

Barbara Green is a public servant of the first order. It has been an important part of her life for some 28 years. As a Town Council member, she probably spends more time than any of her fellow members in meetings, workshops, talking with interested members of the community and doing her homework. She is very available to her community (Truckee) in all ways. She is a great listener, speaks her mind softly, and tirelessly works on the issues that Truckee faces. She is no stranger to the staff at Town Hall, seeking and sharing information and questioning. She actively seeks public input and urges members of the community to write and speak to issues. I trust her and know that she is passionately pursuing Truckee’s best interest in a fair and balanced manner.
