Letter to the editor: Good reporting on Lake Forest incident

Ann Lindemann

I just wanted to take a moment to compliment Kyle Magin on his excellent reporting of the Lake Forest incident, which was thorough and accurate. In addition, the news analysis on page three was compelling copy as well. Both pieces speak to why we need to support investigative community journalism and#8212; whether it’s reported in a hard copy or website. I realize that shrinking newspaper budgets are making it harder to financially support time-consuming investigative reporting, but I believe it’s more important than ever to do so.

Keep up the good work.
