Letter to the Editor: Help earthquake victims in Haiti

Mary K. Jones

If you are moved to contribute to Haiti’s relief efforts I urge you to consider and#8220;Impact for Jesus.and#8221; Impact for Jesus is a ministry that has worked in Haiti since 2007. For background information see the article at http://www.dailyherald.com/story/?id=254805.

Projects include building an addition for a girl’s orphanage, a food program and an addition to a school. This is a reputable organization that my sister-in-law has been involved in that provides direct aid to Haiti.

A serious problem in Haiti is the corruption. This organization makes sure that the money donated goes directly to the orphans to shelter, feed and educate them. The need was great before the earthquake. It is greater now.

Please make your check out to Impact for Jesus and mail it to Jim Meyer 1364 Saxon Lane Naperville, Ill., 60564. It is tax deductible.
