Letter to the Editor: Highway 28 work could affect snow removal

I live near Dollar Hill on Highway 28. The new erosion aversion work looks very neat and clean with rows of rocks piled in a line along the shoulders. However, I wonder if the person who approved this has ever spent a winter here.

Can you imagine what a snow plow will do with those small boulders along the road.

They certainly won’t be all lined up like that in the spring. And how many times will the giant blowers break down when they ingest one of them?

Maybe the plan should be rethought, or maybe it is too late. We’ll watch the action this winter.
