Letter to the editor: Not who we are

Today, Nov. 28, my daughter visited the Truckee courthouse, and witnessed the following: as she was parking, she noticed a black man getting out of his car nearby, which happened to be a very expensive sports model, possibly a Lamborghini. She says she noticed that, and the fact that he was nicely dressed in a suit and was carrying a briefcase. She assumed he was a lawyer, and also noticed that his plates had a Los Angeles frame surrounding them.

When she came out of the courthouse, that nice car had been ‘keyed’ with the words “KKK-TRUMP” by somebody. I hope the parking lot has a camera that showed you while you did your thing, and that you are caught, and I hope that gentleman doesn’t think we Truckee residents are all like that!
