Letter to the Editor: Public wants three lanes in Kings Beach
I don’t know what Mr. Galloway’s and Mr. Krantz’s agenda was, but they certainly weren’t listening to the public and all the boards involved in this project.
Mr. Kranz was not railroaded for following his conscience. He was ousted for thinking he could pull a fast one on us by changing the order in which the powers to be made their decision on the project.
At our last local election Mr. Krantz was overwhelmingly voted out of office and Mrs. Montgomery, a supporter for the three-lane alternative, was voted in.
Logically there is no way that one mile of a flat, two-lane road with a center lane and shoulder room would have an adverse effect on emergency egress from the basin. The reality is all the roads out of town are only two lanes anyway.
