Letter to the Editor: Regarding the sale of Crown Motel property

We would like to express our sincere gratitude to all those who attended the Placer County Board of Supervisors meeting or submitted letters regarding the planned sale of our lakeshore properties in Kings Beach. The large turnout at the meeting shows how strong the connections are within the Kings Beach and greater North Shore and Truckee communities.

The planned sale of the Ferrari Crown Resort, Gold Crest Lodge and Falcon Lodge to Tahoe Expeditionary Academy (TEA) has been postponed due to unforeseen circumstances. We are committed to maintaining a healthy working relationship with TEA, Placer County and the community we’ve been part of for many generations. In addition, we will continue to operate our lodging business and welcome your support.

For reservations, call 800-645-2260 or visit http://www.tahoecrown.com.
