Letter to the Editor: Thanks for Unity Project success
The Parasol AmeriCorps Program volunteers and staff and eighth-grade students of Incline Middle School recently completed a mentorship program at Incline Middle School. Fittingly called “The Unity Project,” this program was designed by the Parasol AmeriCorps volunteers to cultivate camaraderie among the eighth-grade students students.
We would like to thank all of our donors whose donations made this service project possible. Thank you, Costco of Carson City, Christina of Human Resources in Carson City Target, Safeway, Village Market, Shane Goddard of Incline Village General Improvement District (IVGID), Mary Blount, Sharon Kennedy of Incline Middle School, eighth-grade students of Incline Middle School, parents of the eighth-grade students of Incline Middle School, the Parasol Tahoe Community Foundation, Kristy Oriol of Tahoe SAFE Alliance and Jessica of Tahoe Safe Alliance. Your contributions were integral in the success of The Unity Project.
