Kim Dabol: Thank you for supporting the Horsemen

On behalf of the Truckee Donner Horsemen and the Truckee Donner Junior Horseman, we would like to express our sincere and deep gratitude to the Rotary Club of Truckee and the Truckee Optimist for their generous donations enabling our club to continue our mission to develop leadership, teamwork and community through equine experiences in our amazing mountain community.

The Rotary Club of Truckee’s donation enabled our club to replace 20-year-old appliances necessary for events and fundraising throughout the year and all of the equine decorations and supplies necessary for the TDJH Drill Team to create beautiful performances at the Truckee Rodeo. Truckee Rotary’s support continues to be invaluable to the vitality of the TDH and TDJH. We thank you so much.

The Truckee Optimists have been and integral partner in the Truckee Donner Junior Horsemen for three years. Their charitable donation allowed the TDJH to purchase pink western shirts for Tough Enough To Wear Pink Day, a nationally-recognized campaign for rodeos and western events which promotes breast cancer awareness. Thank you Truckee Optimist.

We would also like to thank the countless volunteers in our community who volunteer their time to support the Truckee Donner Horsemen, the Truckee Donner Junior Horsemen, the Truckee Rodeo and equine experiences in Truckee. Thank you all!
