Urs Schuler: Does Tom McClintock have a conscience?
House Bill H. Joint Res. 77: Should Congress oppose the U.S. withdrawal from northeast Syria and call on Turkey to stop attacking the Syrian Kurds?
The House passed Oct. 16. Roll call: Vote 354 Yea and 60 Nay, McClintock votes NAY.
President Trump now has successfully re-enabled ISIS to continue with their atrocities and cruelties. I cannot fathom why Trump wants to see ISIS rise again, nor can I understand why Tom McClintock blindly supports him in this.
The wholesale slaughter and genocide against the Kurds in Syria by another wannabe dictator is passively endorsed by our representative in Congress. He most certainly does not represent me or anything anywhere near my values for human lives or the machinations of rising dictators, American or Turkish or anywhere else.
I do not want to have such a representative and I do not want to have such a president. I sincerely hope that in the next elections people in this district will remember this lack of decency, consciousness, or humanity by our so-called representatives.
