Lions seek donations for rummage sale

Memorial weekend, May 26 and 27, is the time for the 7th annual Truckee Host Lions Club Community Rummage Sale at the Truckee Donner PUD parking lot on Donner Pass Road starting at 9 a.m.

It’s time to clean out your garage and basement, bag up your old clothes and rid yourself of all that unnecessary or excess stuff.

Anyone with items to donate can drop them off behind Don Casler’s Century 21 on Donner Pass Road or call Don or Marie at 550-9514. Donation receipts are available on request.

TVs, appliances, home and office furniture, sporting goods, toys, tools, tires, clothing, jewelry, ceramics and paintings will all being offered for sale, plus the Lioness Club Book Sale is again taking place in conjunction with the rummage sale.
