Martis Camp Home Tour: Supporting Excellence in Education

TAHOE/TRUCKEE and#8212; Dickson Realty Truckee Tahoe teamed up to assist the Excellence in Education Foundation raise approximately $26,000 during the Martis Camp Home Tour event held Saturday, Aug. 7. Broker and Owner of Dickson Realty Truckee Tahoe Lil Schaller chaired the annual event for the Foundation in partnership with the Tahoe Sierra Board of Realtors and Martis Camp, assisted by company agents Alison Elder, Tilly Mezger and many agents from local real estate firms who volunteered as docents at the tour.

As one of five ticket locations, Dickson Realty was involved with selling the more than 500 tickets. and#8220;The annual Luxury Home Tour is something we always encourage our agents to get involved in,and#8221; Schaller said. and#8220;The Excellence in Education Foundation is a phenomenal organization and our primary goal is to raise awareness and funds to assist with their programs. Hitting around $26,000 is a great accomplishment, especially considering how contributions for nonprofits have slowed with the economy. We feel we did what we set out to do.and#8221;

The event featured six breathtaking and unique homes. The tour showcased the latest trends and creativity behind todayand#8217;s luxury homes and the vision of some of the regionand#8217;s premier architects, builders, designers and landscapers.

Other Martis Camp Home Tour committee members included: Don and Hale Carr, Mike Lombardi, Jennifer Boehm, Kappy Mann, Becky Kerton, Valerie Green, Heather Morgan from Martis Camp, Alison Elder and Tilly Mezger from Dickson Realty Truckee Tahoe and Laura Brown and Lisa McPherson from the Excellence in Education Foundation.
