Monte Carlo Night coming to Vinton Grange Hall in Loyalton

The Rotary Club of Loyalton will be hosting their 17th Annual Monte Carlo Night at the Vinton Grange Hall on March 13. This social event gives folks the chance to be and#8220;High Rollersand#8221; with play money as they try their luck at Blackjack, Roulette, Craps and Bingo and#8212; and be a support to Rotaryand#8217;s local scholarship program.

Tickets are $10 pre-sale from a Rotarian or $15 at the door. Ticket holders receive a and#8220;stakeand#8221; of $2,500 plus two complimentary drink tickets. A silent auction featuring items from local merchants and more, plus food, snacks and drinks will be available throughout the night. Wonderful door prizes and raffle items spice up the eveningand#8217;s entertainment.

As night progresses, winnings accumulate and tension builds as players compete for the top and#8220;winnings.and#8221; The top three winners receive fabulous prizes including the Grand Prizes of dinner for four on the Dixie Queen at Tahoe and a local resortand#8217;s foursome of golf.

All proceeds from this event go to fund scholarships for Loyalton High school seniors. and#8220;This is a difficult year for our community financially,and#8221; said Club President Brooks and#8220;Troutand#8221; Mitchell. and#8220;It especially will hit our graduating seniors hard as tuition goes up, and financial aid becomes more difficult to obtain.and#8221;

Community support has been very strong throughout the Sierra Valley and surrounding communities. Snack mix, hot dogs and pizza will be served to keep energy levels up at Monte Carlo Night, an evening of fun, laughter, good friends and community service.
