Mountain Flicks: New movie theaters coming to the Village at Northstar

TRUCKEE, Calif. and#8212; Northstar-at-Tahoe Resort announced two new movie theaters will open in the Village at Northstar, scheduled to open in December 2010. The Village Cinemas will be operated by veteran theater owners Bloomhuff Theatres, Inc. and will be the only movie theaters in the vicinity of Truckee.

The Village Cinemas will be located on the lower level of the Village at Northstar near TCand#8217;s Pub, and will feature two screens and#8212; one theater containing 122 elevated seats, and the second containing 55 flat seats. Scheduled to be open seven days a week during the winter season, The Village Cinemas will feature Hollywood hits and a full service concession stand that will include beer and wine sales for guests ages 21+.
