National Night Out is August 7: Support the fight against crime

TAHOE and#8212; Tuesday, Aug. 7, 2012 is National Night Out. Join the Placer County Sheriffand#8217;s Office, 5- 8 p.m. at the North Lake Tahoe Visitor Center in Tahoe City and Adrift Tahoe in Kings Beach to support in the fight against crime.

National Night Out is designed to heighten crime prevention awareness, strengthen neighborhood spirit and foster police-community partnerships. As a community member you can show your support by keeping your front porch lights on to show criminals neighborhoods are united against crime; or participate in joining the community and Placer County Sheriffand#8217;s Office in Tahoe City and Kings Beach for an afternoon of food and fun.
