New owners of All Fired Up! opening Northstar shop in July

John and Olivia Ostrie recently moved to the Tahoe area in November from San Diego. They purchased the paint your own pottery business All Fired Up! currently located at Squaw. A second location in the Village at Northstar is set to open in July 2010. The new studio is spacious, providing a large selection of pottery, with plenty of seating. Great for groups like wedding parties, birthday parties or just date night (yes, you can bring wine.)-

John and Olivia are previous owners of four pottery studios in San Diego that they opened and ran for 12 years. Using their proven methods, they are anxious to start working with the local schools to help raise much needed funds with their tile fundraisers. Their studios in San Diego raised more than $350,000 for San Diego schools over the years. Many local schools have already expressed interest or signed up to host an event at their school. This is a great way for families to come together as a group, create a unique and artful mural to provide lasting memories.

All Fired Up! will also offer a summer camp for children ages 6 and up.- Youth do a project each day and Friday is the reveal of their pieces, with a crazy hair day party. Camp days are Monday – Friday from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. Sign up for the week or drop in by the day. Visit http://www.allfireduptahoe.com.

The staff is available to help with hand and footprints, offer painting tips and even do custom work. Getting married? Let them customize a platter with your names and wedding date. Have your guests sign the platter with the special pen provided.-

All Fired Up! offers one to two-day turnaround and even ships. This is an activity for all age groups. No experience is necessary. The paints are washable and non-toxic. Dishes are food and dishwasher safe … so get those creative juices flowing and visit All Fired Up!
