North Shore sheriff’s reports

The following police reports are collected from Placer County Sheriffs Office reports from Aug. 19 to Aug. 26.Aug. 19 At 2:06 p.m. it was reported that an unknown suspect entered an unlocked car in the 8500 block of Dolly Varden Avenue in Kings Beach and took $500 worth of property. Approximately $75 of property was later discovered by a deputy in another part of Kings Beach.Aug. 23 At 9:53 p.m. a suspect was arrested in the 3100 block of North Lake Boulevard in Tahoe City on the suspicion of driving under the influence. She was pulled over for crossing over the double yellow lines, according to the report.Aug. 25 At 10:45 p.m. it was reported that a barbecue was removed from a rear deck in the 300 block of Skidder Trail in North Star.Aug. 26At 6:16 p.m. a resident of the 8500 block of Speckled Avenue in Kings Beach reported that someone dented the cab of a truck, broke the rear sliding window and smashed a watermelon in the truck.
