Haunnakah, Christmas Eve and Christmas services from family brunches to midnight Mass will be taking place all over the region.

Religious Science Center for Spiritual Growth will celebrate Christmas Eve at the regular Sunday service at 10 a.m. There will be a musical Christmas production arranged by Donna Roberts Axton and Colleen Kelly. The North Tahoe Hebrew Congregation Religious School is sponsoring a community Hanukkah Party on Saturday, Dec. 23, at the North Tahoe Community Conference Center in Kings Beach. The event will take place from 6 to 8:30 p.m. Religious School students and parents will run the party, which will include a buffet featuring authentic Jewish food, music, dancing, games, raffle, silent auction and candle lighting ceremony led by Rabbi Irnie Nadler. Everyone in the community is welcome to attend, and all proceeds will be used to help run the NTHC Religious School. Admission is
$12 for adults and $6 for children, ages 6 and under free.
