TAHOE CITY, Calif. and#8212; Santa welcomes guests to North Tahoe Arts Artisan Shop and Gallery this year. Step further inside to see holiday art from Artisan Shop artists. Youand#8217;ll find artistic hand crafted cards and gifts, along with angels, felted wool, scarves and prints in the spirit of the season. The glass work is incredible in jewelry, and window art, dishes and ornaments! The gallery show, Awaken Your Soul, has original artwork in different mediums. Crosses of various styles and wood adorn one of the gallery walls downstairs. Upstairs in the Loft is Holiday Art and Gifts where youand#8217;ll find little girl shifts and fleece vests, sock dolls dressed for fun, Tahoe Natural soaps and lip balm. The beaded jewelry is awesome and the use of semi precious stones by a couple artists catches the light in a magical way. Santa prints and cards are jolly. Thereand#8217;s more glass here and#8211; sets, vases and cards, books and soy candles. We boast that work from talented local artists canand#8217;t be beat for originality and quality!

North Tahoe Arts, 380 North Lake Blvd. Tahoe City is open Wednesday through Monday, but closed Christmas day. 530-581-2787.
