North Tahoe ARTS is calling all artists

Artists of all mediums, poets and photographers are called by North Tahoe ARTS. Be part of a juried show, exhibit in 2010 or sell your work at the Artisanand#8217;s Shop.

North Tahoe ARTS, above Commons Beach in Tahoe City, is accepting applications for a juried show to run in the Corison Loft from Sept. 29 through Nov. 1, 2009. It is open to all mediums and could be a solo show or partnership. Submission deadline: Aug. 1, 2009. Application fee is $15. The commission schedule will be 70 percent to the artist and 30 percent to NTA. Participants will be asked to volunteer at the show.

Also, artists interested in exhibiting their work at North Tahoe ARTS in 2010 should visit http://www.northtahoearts.com for an application. A variety of exhibits are on the wish list. Seeking contemporary work as well as landscapes, still lifes, portrait artists, potters, jewelers, wood turners, poetry and more. The North Tahoe ARTS Center has two galleries in Tahoe City. An administrative fee of $20 is required and must accompany the application. Deadline for submissions is July 31, 2009.



North Tahoe ARTS provides a venue for artists to sell their work. Artists must be members of North Tahoe ARTS, sign a contract and pay a yearly fee and be available to volunteer in the shop. Looking for 3D Wall ART; ceramic art; a woodworker and unique and contemporary art. Deadline for submissions is Aug. 1, 2009.
