North Tahoe High advocates for the Santa Claus Foundation

North Tahoe High School hosted a Guitar hero contest to benefit The Santa Claus Foundation (TSCF) and raised awareness of a variety of important children’s issues.

TSCF advocates for millions of children in the U.S. who are abused, neglected, exploited, abandoned, homeless and institutionalized through no fault of their own – that’s 1 out of 37 children in our great nation.

TSCF thanks NTHS administrators, students, and faculty, Ms. Bonnie Whittemore and her assistant, Ms. Allison Mitchell, her Advisory class members Edgar Aguilar, Zander Blackmon, Carson Clark, (especially) Michaela Clauss, Cassidy Curtin, Teresa Delgado, Keegan Harrig, (especially) Andrew Hill, Hugo Ramirez, (especially) Joseline Rios, Zachary Steffy, Trevor Trimm, Edgardo Villanueva, Saul Resendiz, and Kelsey Wittels, all competitors and competition winners, Kenna Bolt (easy/medium division) and Zach Tomlinson (hard/expert division), everyone who bought raffle tickets and donated, and prize sponsors: Alpine Meadows Ski Resort, Jakes on the Lake, Safeway Food and Drug, Video Stop, Jason’s Beachside Grille, Squaw Valley, Save Mart, Coffee Connection, and Nancy Blackmon.

Thanks to this enjoyable community event and many others, TSCF continues to expand its presence along the north shore of Lake Tahoe, advocating for vulnerable children in dire circumstances. For further information on how you can help, please visit
