North Tahoe High School Winter Concert and Dinner announced
TAHOE CITY, Calif. and#8212; North Tahoeand#8217;s Winter Concert and Dinner is Wednesday, Dec. 15. Come celebrate the season! Enjoy a buffet-style dinner at 5 p.m. Proceeds go to the High School Jazz Bandand#8217;s Spring Goodwill Tour. Cost for dinner is $5 per person or $20 for a family. The concert will be held in the North Tahoe High School gym at 6 p.m. on Dec. 15. Youand#8217;ll hear all of the bands from sixth grade all the way through high school, including four and#8212; yes, count them, four and#8212; jazz bands. The high school musicians have earned countless awards under the direction of Dean Nordby. This year, they are also joined by middle school director, Lena Meyer, and jazz ensemble director, Todd Holway. Brittany Iverson, North Tahoe graduate and now student teacher has been instrumental (pun intended) in helping with the organization and instrumentation of this yearand#8217;s winter concert. And, as always, thereand#8217;s a special and#8220;surpriseand#8221; guest at the end of this concert for the youngsters.
