Joe William Dealy

Joe William Dealy of Truckee died on Nov. 2 at Tahoe Forest Hospital of cancer. He was 46.

Born in Avenal, Calif. on Sept. 17, 1954 to William Dealy and Edith Addington, he was educated in Visalia, Calif.

He lived in Truckee for four years, coming from Exeter, Calif. He was a firefighter for Woods Firefighters and parking supervisor at Tahoe Donner Winter Season. His hobbies included playing harp at the Pastime Club on Wednesday nights for open mic nights.

He is survived by his mother, Edith Addington of Exeter; father William Dealy of Carthridge, Mo.; son Joseph Weston Dealy of Exeter; step-sister Pam Dealy of Modesto, Calif.

Memorial services were held at the Pastime Club on Saturday, Nov. 11, where P.O.S. Band played in Joe’s memory.
