Obituary: Carson, Fred W.

Local businessman Fred W. Carson was born June 10, 1942 in Quincy, Mass. He moved to the Tahoe area in the late ’60s and made it a part of his life.

He devoted his life to his family, accomplished his dreams by developing a successful business, and went out of his way for all.

Fred was a loving husband to Barbara, father and role model to Rian, Troy and Todd, and was recently blessed with the life of his granddaughter Michaela.E He was a son-in-law to Joanne, a father-in-law to Hank, and a cousin and friend to many.EHe is proceeded in death by his father, Fred, mother, Mary, and father-in-law Ed.EThe Carson family unfortunately lost Fred in an untimely accident on Oct. 5. He will be truly missed.

A celebration of Fred’s life will be held Sunday, Oct. 19 at the Olympic House Sun Deck in Squaw Valley, Calif. at 2 p.m. Immediately following will be a “finger-food” potluck.
