Obituary: Taylor, Troy

Troy Taylor, 36, passed away March 5 following a snowmobile accident at Boca Reservoir. He was born April 18, 1967, in Oregon. He was united in marriage to Chante Taylor on Sept. 23, 2000.

Troy has lived in the Truckee area for the past 20 years.

Troy is survived by his loving wife, Chante, of Russell Valley, his two sons, Brandon Myles, 11, and Tyler Steven, 8, also of Russell Valley, a daughter Kelly Ann, age 14, of Florence, Ky. He is also survived by his brother, Royce, and Royce’s wife, Alisa, of Fremont, Calif., and his parents Ben and Karen Taylor of Roseville, Calif.

Visitation will be at Truckee-Tahoe Mortuary, 10126 Church St., on Wednesday, March 10 from 3 to 7 p.m. Memorial service will be held Thursday, March 11 at 11 a.m. at Sierra Bible Church on Brockway Road in Truckee.

Truckee-Tahoe Mortuary is handling arrangements.
