Opening reception Friday
The opening reception for Truckee Tahoe: Modern Regional Art is
Friday night, September 7, from 5 to 8 p.m. at Carole Sesko Contemporary
Art. This exhibit is a modern artistic response to our region through
art and poetry, and is the result of a years progress of a group of
Truckee based artists who formed a weekly art critique group.
Pictured (left to right) are Soren Wolff, Carole Sesko, Karen Terrey,
Greg Van Loon, Eve Werner, Sara Zimmerman, and Anton Standteiner
planning their show. A poetry reading by Karen Terrey will be offered
at 6:00 pm. Carole Sesko Contemporary Art is located in the Mountain
Forge Complex at 10950A Industrial Way, off Pioneer Trail in Truckee.
The exhibit runs from September 7-October 31. Visit carolesesko.com
