Opinion: Axing center lane of Donner Pass Road a bad idea

Considering the volume of traffic now clogging the Truckee streets, it is incomprehensible that “Envision Donner Pass Road” would propose the change shown on page 2 of your August 12 edition, and page B1 of the August 7 edition, of replacing the center lane in favor of landscaping.

It is the center lane that makes the road viable. Someone needs to do some personal observations.
