Opinion: Community support for Incline fire district

Due to the recent weather conditions and the cooperation of our community, the North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District has been able to exceed expected projections to date for our prescribed fire efforts.

We have completed 120 acres of burning, including 15 acres of understory burning near Saddlehorn Drive and 105 acres of pile burning throughout all five major drainages within the Incline Village community. We are thankful for your support, and the fire district will continue to notify our community of upcoming projects.
