Opinion: Enough with the bike races at Lake Tahoe
I commuted by bike for years, and I would today if it weren’t for riding through two construction zones near midnight — that’s a bad idea in my book. Then, two weekends ago, people riding four abreast, chatting and flipping me off made me think the following: “right of way doesn’t mean much if you’re dead.”
And now the road closures for various events? How can one group stop so many people from living daily life?
