Opinion: Exactly what has Hillary Clinton accomplished?

It is no surprise that Sid Bekowich in his opinion piece last week, “Who’s the best U.S. presidential candidate?” could not cite a single accomplishment for Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, who he claims to be the most qualified candidate for president.

In April 2015, New York Times columnist Tom Friedman asked Hillary as to her greatest accomplishment. She could not remember one. Diane Sawyer asked Clinton if she had a “marquee achievement.” Clinton’s answer, “We’ve had presidents who have made some tough calls, some of which have worked and some of which have not.”

CNN’s Wolf Blitzer asked Clinton, “What would you say was your number one accomplishment as secretary of state?” Her answer: “There Œs a long list about what I have done. And I am very proud of it. You can read my book Hard Choices.”

The problem Clinton backers are having is they are looking at it all wrong. Hillary’s great achievements as SOS are easy to find all around the world, such as the unrest in Syria, the collapse of Libya, the rise of ISIS, the death of a US ambassador and her cover up as well as renewed Russian and North Korean aggression.

As first lady, Hillary’s travels abroad were touristic and symbolic. When given the job of health care reform under the Clinton presidency, she cost the American taxpayers $13 million and did not receive a single vote from a democratic congress.

Other than voting for the war in Iraq under George W. Bush, can you name any accomplishment by senator Hillary Clinton?
