Party in Pink Zumbathon to benefit Susan G Komen

TAHOE/TRUCKEE, Calif. andamp;#8212;Shake, groove, rock your body and feel amazing inside and out because your donation will help fight breast cancer, Friday Oct. 14 at the Party in Pink Zumbathon charity event to benefit Susan G Komen breast cancer research. The cost is $15 in advance, $20 at door with registration at 6 p.m., dance 6:30-8 p.m. at the Community Arts Center, 10046 Church St., Truckee. Join licensed Zumba instructors Greta Dhamer, Courtney Murrell, Clarissa Caverness, Katy Kula and Nora Beauchamp, in association with the Truckee-Donner Recreation andamp; Park District. This event is open to the public ages 13 and over and welcomes all members of the community. Zumba is a Latin-inspired cardio workout that fuses hypnotic Latin and International rhythms and easy to follow moves to create a dynamic fitness program that will blow you away. It is all about having fun and no experience is necessary. Latin rhythms include merengue, salsa, cumbia, reggaeton, belly dancing, samba, hip hop and many more. A Zumbathon is a Zumba party with all proceeds from donations going to a charity or cause. Additional donations will be accepted and receipts provided.
