Passport to Dining: Tickets on sale for delectable affair

KINGS BEACH, Calif. andamp;#8212; Tickets are on sale now for the 7th Annual Passport to Dining, North Tahoe’s biggest restaurant showcase of the year. The seventh annual event will be held Thursday, Oct. 6, 6-9 p.m., at the North Tahoe Event Center in Kings Beach. Tickets are $30 in advance, $40 day of the event and include entrance, tasters from more than 25 local restaurants, breweries and wineries, live music by pianist Dave Lingensjo, silent auction, raffle, grab bag and a commemorative glass. andamp;#8220;Passport to Dining is a community favorite,andamp;#8221; said Cheri Sprenger, from the North Tahoe Business Association. andamp;#8220;It is a great event that offers tastes from local restaurants, beer, wine and other beverages all under one roof for a great price, with a great crowd of friends and neighbors!andamp;#8221; This year’s event will raise money for the Tahoe Rim Riders 4H Club, in addition to the North Tahoe Business Association. Participating restaurants and wineries include Bella Affair Catering, Cable Car Ice Cream, Cafe Biltmore, CB’s Pizza andamp; Grill, Conrad’s Steak, Chops and Seafood, El Sancho Taqueria, Jason’s Beachside Grill, Java Hut, Lone Buffalo Vineyards, Lanza’s Restaurant, Las Panchitas, Lucchesi Vineyards, Shenendoah Vineyards Soule Domain, Steamers Beachside Bar andamp; Oven, The Grid Bar andamp; Grill and more!
